Thomas was born in 1744 in Strensal Yorkshire and was the son of Frances swan and Elizabeth Black,
Thomas Married Jane Haddlesay on the 13th February 1773 in Strensall Yorkshire.
Very soon after the marriage they baptisted Mary on the 23rd September 1773,who was the first of the
6 children,
The second child Thomas he was baptist on the 15th in Strensall Yorkshire.
The third child Jane Swan who was born on the 3rd March 1779 and Baptist
on the 5th March 1779.
The 4th child George was born on the 14th May 1789 and was Baptist on the 9 June 1789
